To provide an elite level volleyball organization within the Champaign-Urbana area that facilitates players’ skill, technique development, and recruitment knowledge in order to develop collegiate-bound athletes.
Meet our Coaches
Evan Hook
Co-Founder
Evan began playing volleyball at a very young age. Eventually Evan went on to compete in the AVP Tour and train with Olympic athletes. Evan’s coaching background includes coaching 50+ players who have gone on to play collegiate volleyball at Division I schools. He played at the #1-ranked team: Cal State University – Long Beach where he earned a B.A. in communication and has been coaching volleyball ever since. Evan currently coaches at Central High School and has since 2010 (three seasons, where his team finished 1st in conference for the first time in 13 years) and at Edison Middle School in Champaign, IL since 2011.
Ellen Hook
Co-Founder
Ellen also began playing multiple sports at a young age as well. However she found her passion in volleyball. Ellen played Division I at Syracuse University for two years and finished her career with a National Championship at Washington University in St. Louis, Division III, where she achieved her degree in Business Administration. Ellen was a four year letter winner in high school for basketball and volleyball, as well as two years in track. Ellen has coached with Evan for five years, including one year at Mizuno Long Beach VBC in Southern California where they couple first met.
